1. Purpose
This policy establishes the process, requirements, and responsibilities for organizations submitting a Request for Proposal (RFP) for grant funding through the RNW Foundation. It also sets forth the Foundation’s standards for the privacy, processing, and verification of submitted information to ensure fair and transparent grant-making practices.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all nonprofit organizations, community groups, and eligible entities submitting proposals for funding consideration under the RNW Foundation’s grant programs.
3. Eligibility
Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a legally recognized nonprofit organization or equivalent entity in good standing.
Demonstrate alignment with the RNW Foundation mission to promote equality for underrepresented groups in social issues and industries such as healthcare.
Provide accurate and verifiable organizational information, including contact details, registration documentation, and financial statements, as applicable.
4. Submission Process
Accessing the RFP Form
Applicants must complete the official RNW Foundation RFP form, available on our RFP webpage.Required Documentation
Proposals must include, at minimum:Organizational name, address, and point of contact
Proof of nonprofit status or legal registration
Program description, objectives, and expected impact
Detailed budget and funding request
Key personnel or project leadership details
2a. Some information is requested at the time of submission. Verifications of nonprofit status and legal registration, as well as financials, are to be processed at the due-diligence stage of the process. Please have documents ready for review when contacted.
Submission Deadline
All proposals must be submitted by the deadline specified in the open call for proposals. Late submissions will not be considered.
5. Privacy & Data Protection
RNW Foundation is committed to safeguarding the privacy of applicants.
Data Collected: Organizational contact details, registration documents, financial information, and program descriptions will be collected solely for grant evaluation purposes.
Data Storage: Information will be stored securely in compliance with applicable data protection regulations.
Data Sharing: Submitted data will only be shared with RNW Foundation staff, grant reviewers, and verification partners as necessary to evaluate eligibility and prevent fraud.
Retention: Application data will be retained for a period of 5 years for auditing and reporting purposes, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymized.
6. Processing & Verification
All proposals undergo a multi-step review process:
Preliminary Review: Staff will confirm completeness of the submission and verify eligibility criteria.
Due Diligence: Organizational status, financial documents, and leadership information may be verified through public databases and third-party services.
Evaluation: Proposals will be scored based on alignment with RNW Foundation mission, potential impact, and budget feasibility.
The RNW Foundation reserves the right to request additional documentation or clarification during this process.
7. Self-Attestation Agreement
By submitting an RFP to the RNW Foundation, applicants acknowledge and agree to the following:

I hereby attest that the information provided in this application is true, accurate, and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand that providing false or misleading information may disqualify my organization from current and future grant opportunities.I authorize the RNW Foundation to collect, process, and verify the information provided in this application, including but not limited to, organizational registration, financial records, and leadership credentials, for the purpose of grant evaluation.
I further acknowledge and consent to the RNW Foundation’s privacy, processing, and verification policies as stated above.
8. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed annually by the RNW Foundation Board of Directors and updated as needed to reflect changes in laws, regulations, and best practices in grant-making. For more information regarding the processing of your personal and organizational data, please review our privacy policy.
